Gryphon Gardens daylily walk

The central feature of the backyard garden is The Daylily Walk, a path that starts on the south side of the house and eventually makes its way to the north side. This displays the evolution of the daylily from the species to the most modern introductions.

Scattered throughout the garden are Other Garden Features such as a Buddha Garden, a pond, and a knot garden symbolizing Guelph’s historic radial town plan.

Other plant collections on display include over 200 varieties of hosta as well as ferns and hardy roses. Around the edges of the garden are three seedling beds and several selected seedling beds.

The front yard features a collection of miniature daylilies along the brick path to the road, and also a smaller historically oriented bed near the road.
