This elegant daylily’s blooms are a complex dark red violet, with white midribs on the cascading petals, and a green yellow throat. The bud count per scape is relatively low, as is often the case with large, spidery flowers, but the plant produces many scapes, resulting in spectacular clumps.

‘Edinburgh’ is named after the great Scottish city whose planning and architecture have made it one of the most dramatic cities in the world.
